About the Sachem Athletic Hall of Fame: The first induction of Sachem’s Athletic Hall of Fame took place in 2003. There was a 13-year gap between inductions, but the Sachem Alumni Association resurrected the Hall in 2016 and has had at least one induction ceremony in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. There was no induction in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As of 2019, there are 106 members of this prestigious Hall of Fame.
